How do we check out?

Will taxes/duties be charged upon delivery?
We are required by law to accurately list the content and prices of your purchase. Your purchase may be subject to duties / taxes and customs charges. You, the buyer, are responsible for any applicable duties / taxes and customs charges.
For an estimate of these charges, we suggest you contact your local authorities.
Can we mark the item as a gift or sample?
You can, at checkout, indicate whether your purchase is a gift. We will then note on your purchase content, price and that it is a gift. Note that purchasing a gift may lessen your duty / tax / customs liability.
Will I receive a tracking number?
Domestic Shipping / Tracking: we ship USPS first class. While we can confirm our date of shipping and furnish a reference number, USPS does not provide a tracking code and, as such, we cannot track your purchase en route. We do, however, insure your package against loss. (Loss is defines as your purchase not arriving within 11 days of ship date). If tracking is important to you, we encourage you to ship our USPS Express Mail option.
International Shipping / Tracking: we ship USPS Airmail. We can confirm our date of shipment but USPS does not provide a tracking code and, as such, we cannot track your purchase en route. If tracking is important, we encourage you to ship via our USPS Express Mail option.

What forms of payment are accepted?
Our secured checkout system accepts the following methods of payment:

> Cashier Check: must be in U.S. funds; please print your order or item number on the check;

> U.S. Personal Check: please print your order or item number on the check. To ensure clearance, personal check may be held up to 14 days before shipping is initiated. With this form of payment, shipping USPS first class may take up to 25 days (the average, however is 8 days) or 17 days if you elect to ship with our USPS Express Mail option (the average is 3 days).
We do not accept international checks.
How long will take to receive my order?
DOMESTIC TRANSIT TIME
- We ship within 24 hours of payment received, excepting when embroidery is ordered or when payment is made by personal check.
- We ship Monday- Friday; we do not ship Saturdays, Sundays or Federal Holidays. (We define Monday- Friday as business days).
- Shipping USPS First Class, on average, takes 5-7 business days for delivery, and we ask that you allow up to 11 business days.
- Transit time may take an additional 7 days when you order embroidery (or a total of 12-14 days).
- Transit time may take an additional 14 days when you pay by personal check ( or a total of 19-21 days).
DOMESTIC TRACKING
- USPS is a very reliable and economical method of shipping. While we can confirm our date of shipping, the USPS does not provide a tracking code and, as such, we cannot track your purchase en route. We do, however, insure your items against loss. If tracking is important to you, we encourage you to ship via our USPS Express Mail option.

- We ship USPS Airmail; for faster delivery, you may elect to ship USPS Express Airmail

- Transit time generally takes an additional 7 days when you order embroidery (or a total of 17-21 days).

How long will it take to get an item embroidered?
Most items purchased from Sophias Style Boutique can be personally embroidered for $8 per item. Please allow 7 days after cleared payment for items to be personally embroidered. Please note that we cannot accept returns for embroidered items.

How do we return an item?
We accept returns within 14 days from receipt of purchase. To ensure a refund, all items must be returned unworn, unwashed and with original tags. We are unable to accept returns on items that were damaged while worn, shrunk in the wash or simply did not hold up well after being worn. We urge that, upon receipt, you immediately verify sizand item integrity and that you carefully read the care instructions prior to cleaning. Shipping fees are non refundable. All sales are final after 14 days.
